Wednesday, April 23rd, at the Drake Relays will be a World-Class Shot-Put event. World Record holder, Ryan Crouser, will be inducted into the Hall of Fame Wednesday morning, but then will compete in an event that night. Crouser created this new competition they will hold.

That is Director of the Drake Relays, Blake Bolden. He says that the line will continue to move further and further back until they find, the King of the Ring.

Bolden says that typically with shot put, spectators are unaware of how good the throw is until the athlete reacts. This gives that immediate feedback to spectators. Learn more and get tickets for the Drake Relays at drakerelays.org
