The first weekend in April, the Animal Rescue League of Marshalltown held their annual Fur Ball event and they had a goal beat last years total break the $100,000 mark. Executive Director, Austin Gillis tells KFJB radio that Midnight Garden was beautiful and packed for their event.

He says that even late last week there was still money coming in to add to that total. Gillis says that the money will help relieve some of their expenses throughout the year.

Gillis thinks their efforts to be in the community has helped them pass the $100,000 mark
