It was a controlled and settled pace for the Bobcat girls Tuesday night as they took on Des Moines Hoover. The Cats held sturdy on the defensive side, stifling any and all Husky attacks, while finding the back of the net twice before halftime to lead it at the break. It was then a Bobcat Barrage in the second half as the Cats found the back of the net six different times. Not only attackers and midfielders pushed through for the Cats as defender Jorja Jansen tallied her first goal of the year, helping to secure the win on both halves of the field. Marshalltown prevailed 8-0, lifting their record on the year to 4-2. The Bobcat girls will be back in action later this week for the Highway 30 Rivalry as they head over to Ames to take on the Little Cyclones on Friday.
