Announced yesterday by the City of Marshalltown, phase two of the median project on S Center Street next to Hy Vee is finishing up. The cones were removed yesterday opening all lanes of traffic in both directions. While the weather did not cooperate yesterday, they will repaint lines on the road when able.

Phase one of this project removed the triangle median in the right lane heading northbound on S Center Street. That right lane north of Anson Street is a turn lane into Hy Vee and is not meant to be used as a passing lane.
