Despite the severe weather threats yesterday, the Marshalltown boys tennis team was able to have their meet down at Southeast Polk, looking to keep their undefeated season rolling. The Cats, sitting at #6 in 2A, have not been unfamiliar with weather as they’ve had 3 matches postponed, but determined to not linger in the wind and rain, the Cats rolled over the Rams, earning their 10th win in a row, this one by a final of 9-2. Coach Christensen and the boys will now get the rest of this week to prepare for a massive stretch to close the regular season coming up as they’ll take on Pella, North Polk, Des Moines North, and Ames all at home next week.
