YSS in Central Iowa opened their new Ember Recovery Facility last week in Cambridge. This facility will be a recovery center for addiction and rehabilitation. Marshall County YSS Director David Hicks says this is a long time coming.

Hicks says this facility is here to help anyone in the Midwest, it is not specific to Iowa residents.

The focus at Ember is that transitional stage in life and young adults.

Hicks says the beauty behind this project is having the young adults also learn a skill, this gives them a sense of purpose going back into their community.
