A special meeting was held yesterday morning at the Marshall County Courthouse for the county board of Supervisors. David Braga has the story.
The Marshall County Board of Supervisors held a special meeting Wednesday morning. Over the course of the 25 minute meeting, county engineer Paul Geilenfeldt led the discussion going over the Secondary Roads budget amendment for fiscal year 2025 which was approved. He also led the discussion for the secondary roads budget for fiscal year 2026 which was also approved.
To conclude discussion, Geilenfeldt laid out the secondary roads fiscal year 2026 five-year program which includes projects like resurfacing Shady Oaks Rd. and the construction of a bridge on the shared border of Marshall and Jasper Counties. The board also read a proclamation to recognize (today) May 1st 2025 as a National Day of Prayer in Marshall County.
The next regularly scheduled board meeting will be next Wednesday, May 7th.
