Yesterday, MARSHALLTOWN Company held a groundbreaking ceremony for a new 170,000 sq. ft. facility on the south side of their 8th Ave. campus. As the Director of Category Sales and Marketing, Jon Vance, said yesterday, “From Main St. to Boone St. this is our slice of heaven.” As MARSHALLTOWN Company has been located on 8th Ave for 123 years.

Many of the speakers yesterday talked about manufacturing and how that has changed throughout the years. One thing has been consistent, MARSHALLTOWN Company is still here and has changed with the world. MARSHALLTOWN Company manufactures their own product while many companies will look for others to do the manufacturing.

CEO/President Joe Carter was unable to attend the ceremony did leave some comments to be read. He said, “I hope the team members of MARSHALLTOWN who are here 135 years from now will look back on these moments and find that we did a great job of continuing the legacy of building an even better foundation for their future.”
