We recently spoke with Marshalltown City Administrator Carol Webb and she detailed the upcoming comp plan and housing study. Webb says these are two major plans that cities use to look at the future of the community. First, she detailed the comp plan.

In contrast, she also shared what the housing study will be.

Webb says they’re hoping to get both done by the same firm as the studies have to be compatible. She says she thinks they’ll be able to find someone who is familiar with the housing market in Iowa and is encouraged they’ll find a good firm.
