The Bobcat Tennis teams, both boys and girls, hosted the Des Moines North Polar Bears yesterday. The Polar Bears couldn’t handle the Bobcats heat in either match. The girls smoke the Polar Bears 11 – 0 finishing the regular season undefeated for the 2nd year in a row. The Boys also cranked up the heat on the Polar Bears and got the victory 11 – 0. Both teams are ranked in the top 10 in the state, The girls at #10 and the boys at #9.

That is head coach for Boys Tennis James Christensen. It has been a long week already with 3 matches played. The boys are off today, but will take on Ames for the Iowa Alliance Conference North title on Thursday.

Coach Christensen says they will need to play their best tennis of the year to win the match on Thursday. That match is at the Marshalltown Court Complex starting at 4pm
