Yesterday the Bobcat Girls Tennis team had their individual regional matches and 2 girls will be heading to state. The doubles team of Senior Kennedy Feldman and Sophomore Kate Sandvick defeated their first two opponents securing a top 2 finish and punching their tickets to state. The girls will travel to Iowa City for state doubles on May 30 – 31st at the Hawkeye Tennis and Recreation Complex.
Yesterday the Bobcat Girls Golf team traveled to the Waukee Invitational and battled 13 other teams at the Des Moines Golf and Country Club. Natalie Henson was again the medalist for the event, her 7th in a row. She shot an even par, 72 to lead the way. That helped the Bobcat earn 3rd place as a team as Waukee Northwest won the invitational with a low team score of 313, where the Bobcats shot a 326. The girls will play again today as they have the Iowa Alliance Conference Tournament at Gates Park Golf Course in Waterloo. Tee off is scheduled for 10am this morning
