Marshall County Conservation Director Emily Herring is so thankful for all the volunteer help they receive at the different parks and property across the County. She mentions that if you add up all the volunteer hours, it replaces a full time staff member. She says they want volunteers to help with things they enjoy.
Herring says they are always looking for more volunteers as this helps them get a lot of items done, especially those wish list items. The best place to start is to reach out to the Conservation Department.
The best way to contact Herring and her team is to reach out to The Grimes Farm while they are open, 8am – 4pm Monday through Friday
