As we close yet another week of construction in the downtown renovations being made, Marshalltown Public Works Director Heather Thomas provides an update:

To go into details, Thomas says they’ve made big progress on the phase one water main line.

She says there will be two more tests moving forward for the line, and she says moving forward their next step for next week is to connect and move services from the old water main to this new one once the tests are passed. Needless to say, crews have been busy working away on downtown.
