The summer is the perfect time to get outdoors and enjoy the many local fairs and festivals going on, and Marshalltown Chamber Tourism director Dylan Does says there is no shortage of events taking place nearby

Does says there’s one phrase that’s come up to let everyone know that the summer festival season is here.

That festival will feature the band Punching Pandas, but that’s not the only event coming up soon.

Festival season is alive and well with the weather warming up and the sun shining down, so be sure to hit up some of these places you haven’t yet gotten the chance to visit.
