The end of the legislation session here in Iowa recently took place so we spoke with Iowa Senator Kara Warme to get her thoughts on year one.

One major thing that came up on a couple different occasions was the discussion of cell phones and the time and place to use them. Firstly, keeping your hands on the steering wheel and eyes on the road.

And also not using them while in the classroom.

She says she’s proud of all they accomplished this session but understands there will always be things they wish they got done, but didn’t. She says anyone with ideas or topics they didn’t get to this year can reach out especially now with a little down time.
