It was a complete no show for the Cats in game one Wednesday night of their double-header against 4A #4 Fort Dodge The Cats registered 0 hits in the 13-0 loss. Marshalltown got two runners on in the opening frame before Lucy Porter struck out three in a row to close out the first. From there it was all Dodgers in the 13-0 win in five innings. In the second game the Cats found some more frequent base runners and snatched a 3-0 lead early thanks in part to a 2-run shot to right center by Briley Danielson. The lead was short-lived as the bats came alive for the Dodgers as the game progressed, and they’d eventually take a 14-3 lead and end the game after 5 innings again. The Cats will look to bounce back against Des Moines Roosevelt on Thursday Night.
