It was another slow offensive night for the Bobcats in both games of their double-header against the Roughriders. Blanked 9-0 in the first game by Roosevelt the Cats would once again find some runs to keep game two close for a while, but a drastic turn for the worst took over the 6th inning as the Roughriders sent nine runners home, taking their 4-2 lead all the way to 13-2. The Bobcat bats couldn’t find the runs in the bottom of the 6th, and for the 4th game in a row, the Bobcats fell to the run rule. Coach Bowers and the Cats have the rest of the week and weekend off before they’ll travel to Des Moines to take on the Lincoln Railsplitters on Monday night.
