The Red, White, and Blue Celebration will be happening again in Marshalltown over July 3rd and 4th to celebrate Independence Day. Luisa Ortega has been instrumental in the planning and she shared some details for people at Man on the Street on Friday. She first mentions some of the performances on July 4th.
She says they will have bouncy houses, activities for youth, and vendors selling items.
The events start July 3rd in the 13th Street District with the Classic Car Cruise-In. Heidi Draisey, a volunteer for the event, talks about when the Cruise-In will happen.
There will be a parade of Cars leaving the 13th Street District on July 3rd, then the morning of July 4th will be the Red, White, and Blue 4th of July Parade in the 13th Street District starting at 10:30am. Things shift to the 6th Street Softball complex around 4pm with fireworks shot off there. See the full scheduled of events at marshalltown4thofjuly.com
