Coming of a double-header split against the Railsplitters, the Bobcats returned home to take on the high-flying Ottumwa Bulldogs. Game one was a trouncing as the Cats managed just one hit as they got blanked 16-0 in five innings. Game two was more of the same as the Bulldogs routed the cats 21-0 thanks to a second inning that saw 13 runs come home on 12 hits and a pair of errors by the Bobcat defense. The Cats will look to bounce back Thursday when they’ll host Mason City in an Iowa Alliance Conference North Division matchup.
