The Ann C Keyser Trailhead and Emerson Bridge construction officially started yesterday. This is on the west side of the 6th street viaduct, opposite of the Mega 10 Park area. Heather Thomas, Marshalltown Public Works Director, talks details about this project.
The bridge will lead to a trailhead that is intended to serve the Linn Creek trail and the Iowa Rivers Edge trail.
Thomas says next week the city will accept bids for the replacement of 4 bridges along the Iowa Rivers Edge trail.
