This weekend will be a heat wave signaling that summer is officially here.  The Marshalltown Family Aquatic Center is a place in Marshalltown for people to go to cool down.  Monday through Friday, the Aquatic Center is open from 1pm – 7pm for general swim.  Also Monday through Friday, water walking happens from 11:30 – 12:30 and 7:30 – 8:30pm.

Over the weekend general swim runs from 1pm – 6pm and water walking happens only in the morning from 11:30 – 12:30. Head to marshalltownparkandrec.com to see all of the admission fees and how to sign up for a summer pool pass.
