Iowa Valley is a Community College, which means they serve the communities they are a part of. Pete Drury, is the Associate Dean of Assessment and Distance Learning with Iowa Valley says they are trying a new summer class series this year.
Drury says Iowa Valley is trying to find ways to serve everyone
The next 5 week session is set to start on June 30th and Drury says people have until the 27th to sign up.
These summer sessions are focusing on General Education classes and classes that will easily transfer to 4 year universities. Both Marshalltown Community College and Ellsworth are offering these 5-week courses
