Tonight, the Marshalltown Bobcats will host their Highway 30 rival, the Ames Little Cyclones on the baseball diamond. These rivals will play a doubleheader today with the first game scheduled to start at 5pm.
Other Central Baseball today includes, Gladbrook-Reinbeck heading to South Hardin for a doubleheader today, first pitch for game 1 is scheduled at 5pm. Grundy Center will face AGWSR for a doubleheader at 5pm. Baxter travels to Traer to take on North Tama for a single game at 7pm. East Marshall heads to Union Community for a single game at 7pm. GMG visits BCLUW for a game at 7pm. Finally, West Marshall will face South Hamilton for a game at 7:30.
The Marshalltown Bobcat softball team also hosts their Highway 30 rival, the Ames Little Cyclones tonight. The girls will be playing a doubleheader and you can watch this game out in the heat at the high school, or on KFJB-TV. The broadcast team will go live for the first game at 5pm on YouTube, but only the 2nd game will be aired on the radio side. Tune in with Voice of the Bobcats Brandon Lewis for game 2 around 7pm.
