Friday morning the Tornado Sirens in Marshall County went off around 5:54am.  According to the Marshall County Emergency Management page, the sirens went off due to trained storm spotters reporting storm rotation in the NE part of the County.  Sirens only sound for tornado warnings (per National Weather Service warning or trained spotter warning) or for testing. Sirens can be sounded individually or in specific area or in the county as a whole dependent on area of warning.  You can follow Marshall County Emergency Management Facebook page for more information.
