The Marshalltown Bobcat baseball team traveled to Fort Dodge yesterday to take on the Dodgers in a doubleheader. The score for both games was the exact same, and the Bobcats were on the losing side both times. The Bobcats lost to the Dodgers 11-1 in both games pushing their record to 6-19 on the season and extending their losing streak to 18 games.
The Bobcats are 0-10 in Iowa Alliance Conference play so far this season. It was announced this week the Bobcats will play Ankeny Centennial for the first round of the playoffs on July 11th. KFJB-TV will have coverage of that game. The next game for the Bobcats is a doubleheader tomorrow night at Waterloo East.
Baseball in Central Iowa will see East Marshall traveling to South Hardin for a game at 7pm. Gladbrook-Reinbeck heads to AGWSR for a game at 7pm. Finally, Grundy Center will face Roland-Story for a single game at 7:30.
