The Bobcat softball faced off against #8 ranked Fort Dodge Dodgers last night. The first game was all Dodgers from the start as they score 3 runs in the first and second inning and then another 9 in the 3rd inning finishing game one 15-1. The Bobcats faired better in game two as the Dodgers only score 8 runs beating the Bobcats 8-0. The Bobcats are now 10-17 on the season and will host the Bobcat classic this weekend. Playoff assignments should be released this week.
Softball action in Central Iowa includes, Union/Gladbrook-Reinbeck travels to Wapsie-Valley for a game at 5pm. East Marshall heads to South Hardin for a game at 7pm. Grundy Center will battle Clarksville at 7pm. Finally Collins-Maxwell plays BCLUW at 7:30 tonight.
