Marshalltown City Council member Jeff Schneider recently discussed with us the future of EMS service in town after it was discussed at their council meeting on Monday night.

Schneider says this is definitely a problem, so the city is taking steps to remedy it.

He says Unity Point will still be providing ambulance services, so people can still call 911 to reach them in an emergency situation, but that they need to plan for the future.
