Bryan Brown, 35 year old from Marshalltown, plead guilty to one count of grooming on Friday.  The Marshalltown Police Department arrested Brown back in January due to Brown engaging on Facebook messenger with who he believed to be a 12 year old girl, “Mandy”.

Brown sent nude photos and asked for nude photos in return.  He invited “Mandy,” her 12 year old friend, and “Mandy’s” 9 year old sister to his house in Marshalltown in December.  A search warrant was requested in December by the Marshalltown Police Department to obtain Brown’s smartphone.

Brown was already on the sex offender registry for a January 2015 offense with a boy younger than 13.
