The Marshalltown community band is advancing quickly through the summer as director Brett Umthun says they have just a couple performances left, as the group celebrates quite the milestone this year.

Umthun says this upcoming week they will be in Conrad, but the following week they have a special performance lined right back here in Marshalltown.

Umthun says their membership is growing and they are always reaching out to add more members that may be looking to scratch that musical itch.
