Yesterday, Marty Mitchell offered a free swim day at the Marshalltown Family Aquatic Center.  Mitchell has done this event in previous years, anyone who showed up to the Aquatic Center entered for free.  About 1,000 people were at the Marshalltown Aquatic Center soaking up the sun and splashing around in the pool.

The Marshalltown Aquatic Center is open daily for Water Walking from 11:30am – 12:30 and Monday – Friday 7:30pm – 8:30. Open Swim runs Monday – Friday 1pm – 7pm and Saturday and Sunday 1pm – 6pm.  Learn more at marshalltownparkandrec.com
