There has been a lot of trash talk in the last year with the Marshalltown City Council. With two garbage services now using trucks with arms, that has changed where trash receptacles need to be located on pick up days. This has the city looking at the garbage pickup as a whole.
That is City Councilor Jeff Schneider. The city now has a survey out that people can take, and they are looking into a study on how other communities do garbage pickup.
People can find the survey online at Marshalltown-ia.gov or by visiting the city of Marshalltown’s Facebook page, which is called, “City of Marshalltown – Local Government”
