Iowa is a bit different where we allow high school baseball and softball to be played over the summer time. Substate and Regional play is finishing up this week and next week will start the state tournament. Softball will begin on Monday, July 21st up in Fort Dodge.
While baseball will also start on Monday, July 21st but they play in two different locations. 1A and 2A will play at Merchant Park in Carroll, IA and 3A and 4A will be playing at MercyOne Field at Lewis & Clark Park in Sioux City.
