With summer weather comes the possibility of sever weather, as we’ve already seen a few times this season, and Marshall County Emergency Management Coordinator Kim Elder shared some of the ways folks in the area can stay alert to all emergency notifications, particularly on cell phones.
Elder also mentions carrying another form of device to be tuned into all severe weather alerts, even if some may consider it outdated.
Elder says they won’t send an all-clear signal, mostly due to the possibility of clusters of storms, so make sure you’re tuned in when severe weather hits so you know the weather has moved past you.
