Championship baseball will be played today in 2 locations across the state.  For 1A and 2A baseball, they will be playing at Merchants Park in Carroll and the 1A final will be between St. Ansgar and Martensdale-St. Mary’s, which is set to start at 5pm.  2A championship will be between Pleasantville and Unity Christian starting at 7:30. 3A and 4A will be played at Lewis and Clark Park in Sioux City.  3A will see Dubuque Wahlert against Pella at noon.  Class 4A will start at 2:30 with Iowa City High against Waukee Northwest.

Softball will also see 3 championship games played today as 2 were played yesterday.  1A championship will be between Wayne, Corydon and Clarksville at 7:30pm.  2A will play at 5pm, and that is between Van Meter and West Lyon.  Finally, 3A will see Dubuque Wahlert against Williamsburg at 2:30.  All of the softball games are played in Fort Dodge at the Harlan Rogers Complex.  4A championship was played yesterday and Pella beat North Polk 4 – 2.  5A championship was also yesterday, Waukee Northwest beat Linn-Marr 1-0 in 8 innings.
