One week from today will kick of the Iowa State Fair down in the States Capital. The best place people can go is to iowastatefair.org, which is where people can find a map of the fairgrounds, where to park, and which gates you can enter.
Also online, people can get their ticket ahead of time, which saves them a little money. Tickets before the fair starts are $11 for adults and $7 for children ages 6 – 11, then any children under 5 are free. Starting August 7th, prices will increase to $16 for adults, $11 for children 6 – 11, and children 5 and under are free.
Sealed food and drink are allowed in this summer, checkout their website for all the rules.
