Monday 25th August 2025

The Iowa State Fair set a new total attendance record last year, and while things got off to a slow start this year, 3 of the first 4 days at lower attendance than 2024, the wonderful weather in the middle of the week saw attendance higher than last year’s on Monday, Wednesday, and Thursday, with Thursday’s attendance coming in just about 500 people shy of the Day 8 record set in 2015 with 107,449. Currently through 8 days, the State Fair sits at an attendance of just over 843,000 people, which means Friday, Saturday, and Sunday need to see big jumps in numbers, needing nearly over 113,000 attendees per day to top last year’s total attendance. Be sure to stop on out and say hello to our very own Kyle Martin who will be broadcasting live on our sister station KIX 101.1 today from 1pm until 5pm from the triangle.
