We recently spoke with City Councilman Jeff Schneider in regards to the updates that have come to the mall, and what to expect moving forward.

Schneider then highlights the TIF agreement that went through and what all that entails for the mall.

He says that the trade off is that Marshalltown once again has another place to shop, and now, there isn’t a “blighted property” sitting idly by on the massive area that it takes up.
