This year is the 33rd year for the “Bowl Full of Blues” in the bowl in Newton. Mike Cooling, President of the South Skunk Blues Society, shares when the event will take place and who is playing.
Tickets are still available and a bit cheaper if you get them ahead of time. Cooling says tickets are $25 ahead of time or $35 at the gate.
Cooling says people bring their own lawn chairs, drinks, and sometimes even snacks. He said there is food available for purchase.
The gates are set to open at 11am on Sunday, August 31st with music to start at 12 o’clock noon.
