The Bobcat volleyball team got their season started last night as they hosted the Ft. Dodge Dodgers in an Iowa Alliance Conference matchup. David Braga has the story

The Cats looked to get off on the right foot as they look to build with a lot of new faces, losing over a half dozen seniors from the 2024 squad. They’d have a tough task taking on the Dodgers in their season opener, and it was a back-and-forth match that ended up going the full 5 sets. The Cats fell behind in the closing set 7-1 before rattling off 14 of the next 19 points and securing the 3-2 win on a Gianna Baune ace. The Cats next host the Hoover Huskies next Tuesday night at 7:15.
