Ethan Crow is a local farmer who works land south of Marshalltown and he recently shared how his crops are doing especially with all the rain we got in the month of July.  He says the moisture has been great to get out of dry drought conditions but too much rain can cause issues with the soybeans.

He says this issue is not wide spread and overall, the soybeans have looked good this summer.  He said it is a balancing act with the moisture as the extra moisture has also helped the soybeans.

Crow says his farm handles soybeans, field corn, and sweet corn.
