Yesterday the Bobcat Boys golf team competed at Veenker Memorial Golf Course for the Ames Invite. The Boys ended the day shooting a 331 as a team placing them in 11th place out of 17 teams. The boys long week will continue today, they have a total of 3 competitions this week. Today the boys are heading to Cedar Rapids Country Club for the Warrior Invitational. Tee off is scheduled for 10am today.
Both Bobcat Cross Country teams will be heading south to the Valley Invite this afternoon. This meet will take place at Valley Southwoods in Des Moines. Junior Runner for the Bobcats Preston Johnson was 2nd place at the Bobcat Invite on Thursday last week and he broke a school record running a 15:00:5. The meet today is set to start at 4:15.
The Bobcat girls swim team has a meet today at home against Des Moines Roosevelt. This meet will take place at the Marshalltown High School starting at 5:30 tonight.
Finally, the Bobcat Volleyball team will travel to Waterloo East to take on the Trojans tonight. The varsity game will be aired on KFJB-TV with pregame with Voice of the Bobcats Brandon Lewis starting at 7:00 with first serve at 7:15. You can watch on KFJB-TV’s YouTube and Facebook pages.
