Monday night, the Marshalltown Community School District got an update about Franklin Field from Boyd Jones the construction manager. That was the main topic of discussion and Dr. Schutte, Superintendent of schools, says they are on schedule and within budget. Beyond that, Dr. Schutte shares that there were a few donations given to the district on Monday.
Cindy Iole gave a donation in memory of her Husband, Ron Iole, who was a long-time custodian at Anson. The donation was for teacher classrooms and school supplies.
Dr. Schutte shares that it is the 2nd year in a row the Bobcat Burger won the Battle of the Burger at Legends. People can watch back the entire board meeting on the School Districts YouTube page.
