Filing for the City of Marshalltown November election ended yesterday at 5pm. November 4th will have multiple seats open on the Marshalltown City Council and Mayor. There are two individuals who turned in paperwork for Mayor and both are current City Councilors, Mike Ladehoff and Gary Thompson.
There are four candidates who are running for the two At-Large positions; Timothy Bradbury, Sue Cahill, Scott McLain, and incumbent Jeff Schneider. Cahill has previously spent time on the City Council and was a State Representative.
1st Ward seat, currently held by Mike Ladehoff, has one person running, Marco Yepez-Gomez. Finally in Ward 3 there is only one person running, incumbent Greg Nichols. The election is coming Tuesday, November 4th.
