According to the 3pm update as of Sunday the case count for Legionnaire’s Disease has remained at 70.  No new cases were reported over the weekend and only two cases have been added since Wednesday last week.  The best place to find more information is that 3pm update at the Iowa Department of Health and Human Services website or the Marshall County Iowa Public Health Department Facebook page.

Common symptoms of Legionnaire’s Disease is a weak cough, a high fever, stomach pain, and diarrhea.  If you have any symptoms people are encouraged to go get tested for legionnaire’s disease which any medical provider can do in our community.
