This week, Kendra Sorenson Executive Director of the Marshalltown Area United Way, shared that they have collected, $226,503 of their $900,000 goal.  That puts them just over 25% of the way, and they want to reach that goal by the end of the year.  She wants people to mark their calendars for the Power of the Purse event.

Sorenson shares they have added another door prize and those who get a ticket are eligible to win.

You can get tickets online at Unitedwaymarshalltown.org or by stopping by their office in the MACC, Marshalltown Arts and Civic Center.  Funds raised with the United Way supports 30 local programs with 25 local agencies.
