Farmers have begun to pick their crop this fall and that means more farm machinery will be out on the roads, especially those two lane highways.  Marshall County Sheriff Deputy Jonathan Rogers says most of the crashes they see with farm equipment is a motorist approaching the farm vehicles from behind.

He says farmers can help out and give some signals to warn drivers.

Deputy Rogers says all of the rules still apply even with slow moving vehicles.  He says the double line means people cannot pass.

Patience and being alert are the two things Deputy Rogers says drivers need in the fall.
