Today continues the Oktemberfest celebration in downtown Marshalltown as people will continue to gather to take in the festivities including vendors, a carnival, a parade, and so much more. With the construction taking place on Main Street north of the Courthouse, the parade will run along Church Street and will have around 100 entrants. It will start around 10:00am and will run until around 12:30pm. Following the parade there will be a Car Show and Car Hop Competition with registration for the Car Hop starting at 1:00pm with the event starting at 3:30pm. There will also be live music and a cornhole tournament to round out your afternoon of fun.
