The case count for Legionella stayed at 74 through the weekend. That is an increase of 1 case since the 3pm update on Wednesday, September 24th. According to Marshall County Public Health, the 12 identified cooling towers have been cleaned once but not all have done a complete shutdown.
Oktemberfest was held in downtown Marshalltown this past weekend, if any further cases were contracted those would be added to the count the end of this week and into next week.
