3pm Update

The case count for Legionella stays at 74 in Marshall County according to the 3pm update on the Iowa Department of Health and Human Services website.  Sydney Grewell, Marshall County Public Health Director, gave an update at the Marshall County Board of Supervisors meeting on Wednesday last week. Supervisor Jarret Heil says the case count leveling off is what Public Health wants to see.

Heil is hopeful that the disinfection of the cooling towers worked and life can go back to normal without the concern of Legionella.

There have been 3 cases added since the Monday, September 22nd 3pm update.  No further cases were added over the weekend.
