We spoke this week to Shelley Barrons, the Chair with Heart of Iowa Kennel Club to discuss the dog show this this weekend at the Central Iowa Fairgrounds.

Barrons then described the differences in the shows that people will see.

She says these events are similar to those that you may see on television, such as the Westminster Dog Show, but considerably smaller, though there will still be some 90 breeds participating. There is no entry fee this year and there will be plenty of vendors there including various dog grooming products as well as food trucks.
